All Whatcom Hospice clinical services, including those provided at Hospice House, are delivered by PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center with sustaining annual support provided by the Foundation. Whatcom Hospice Foundation and PeaceHealth are committed to maintaining a strong collaborative partnership that results in top quality end of life care for every patient in need, regardless of ability to pay.
The 20th Annual “Light the Night” Gala Auction to benefit Whatcom Hospice will be held Saturday, November 14, 2020. This year due to COVID-19 social distancing recommendations we are planning to hold the auction in a virtual format. The virtual event will feature both live and silent auctions. Registration is free, or upgrade to a Party In Place Package for $75 per person including admission. See auction website for details.
On Saturday, November 14th you will be able to watch the live auction broadcast on either Facebook or You Tube. Our energetic auctioneer John Curley is sure to keep it fast paced and highly entertaining! All live and silent auction bidding will be done via our mobile bidding platform – so you can bid right from your smartphone, tablet or computer.
Last year more than 340 guests attended the auction held at Four Points by Sheraton. A record $463,000 was raised for Whatcom Hospice, a service of PeaceHealth, which provides care for terminally ill patients in Bellingham and Whatcom County.
Proceeds from the event enable Whatcom Hospice to offer services to patients and families above and beyond those that are reimbursed by Medicare and other insurers. Donations provide:
