This session offers the newly bereaved a starting point to receive support with the grief process. Adults affected by a recent death are invited to a safe and welcoming atmosphere for a time of sharing and information. Staff and volunteers will provide grief education and the opportunity to share with others to help lessen the stress of loss. This one session may provide what you need as you continue your grieving process or you may decide to enroll in additional programs. The gathering will be held in the Bowman Conference Room at Whatcom Hospice, 2800 Douglas Ave, Bellingham, WA.
This series is a six week educational and supportive grief group for adults dealing with the death of a loved one. The groups will be held at the Bereavement Center, Whatcom Hospice Administration Office, lower level, 2800 Douglas Ave, Bellingham, WA. Registration is required. Free and open to the community, dates and times below.

Learn how journaling and writing can have a positive impact on the grieving process. This one day workshop offers techniques and ideas that can inspire participants to use writing as a way of effectively coping with grief. All adults are welcome. No experience as a “writer” is necessary. Writing materials will be supplied. Participants are welcome to bring their own journal if desired. No fee. Preregistration is required. Held at Whatcom Hospice Administrative Building on Saturday, June 2nd from 1:00-4:00pm, 2800 Douglas Ave., Bellingham.
