Honor or memorialize someone special while also supporting hospice.
Pay tribute to the special people in your life with a memorial or tribute gift to Whatcom Hospice Foundation. The person you choose to remember or honor need not have been a hospice patient.
We will acknowledge your memorial or tribute gift by sending a letter the person you specify – please be sure to include their address with your gift. The amount of your gift will not be mentioned. A separate receipt will be sent to you.
Gift in Memory
Memorial gifts are a lasting remembrance of a special person whom you wish to honor.
Gift in Honor
Honor a living person by giving a gift to help terminally ill patients in our community. You might choose to honor a compassionate caregiver or someone celebrating a birthday or other special occasion.
Two beautiful donor recognition sculptures have been installed at Whatcom Hospice House. A 25′ metal sculpture wall created by artist Joe Clark and metal gate sculpture by Shirley Erickson. They consist of a striking collection of glass and metal leaves. Donors may be recognized on the metal elements of these sculptures, or they may use the elements to honor or memorialize a loved one or friend. Engravings are available for gifts of $500 or more.
Your leadership gift of $5,000 or more to Hospice House will be recognized with a decorative fused glass plaque on the Founder’s Wall located in the central corridor near the reception desk. Use your plaque to honor a loved one, thank a caregiver, or serve as a statement of personal support for Hospice.
Whatcom Hospice Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
