Foundation Purpose

Whatcom Hospice Foundation is an independent charitable organization comprised of dedicated volunteers and knowledgeable staff who raise funds and build community awareness in support of Hospice services in Whatcom County. The Foundation owns and maintains the Whatcom Hospice Campus, including Whatcom County’s only residential hospice facility, Hospice House.

Lumber and Lace Hospice Charity Ball

Saturday March 4, 2017

Save the Date for Bellingham's 4th Annual Lumber and Lace Charity Ball at the Majestic Ballroom on Saturday March 4th, 2017.

The event features live music, dance instruction, old-fashioned photos, professional old-timey hair-do's, a silent auction, and a 50/50 raffle. The ball is a semi-formal early-1900’s era event and dressing up is encouraged!

This is a 21+ event and adult beverages such as beer, wine and cider will be available. Advance ticket buyers receive one free drink token, so get those tickets online now!

10th Annual Hospice Pro-am Golf Classic

August 31st, 2017

Planning is now underway for the 10th Annual Hospice Pro-Am Golf Classic to be held at Bellingham Golf and Country Club on Thursday, August 31st, 2017. Prior to the one-day tournament, teams will engage in online fundraising for the right to select the pro that will play alongside their foursome. The 19th Hole post-tournament celebration will feature a Longest Drive Contest, pitting top local pros against each other with an opportunity for you to wager on their success.

Light the Night Hospice Gala Auction

Saturday November 12, 2016

The 16th annual “Light the Night” Hospice Gala Auction held Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the Four Points by Sheraton hosted 350 guests and raised over $415,000 for Whatcom Hospice.

Event sponsors included Peoples Bank, CSS Integration & Communications, Inc.; Phillips 66 Ferndale Refinery; Trico Office Interiors; WECU—Whatcom Educational Credit Union; and Yorkston Oil Company.
